Meet Rae-Anne
Owner and Speech Language Pathologist
Rae-Anne has been an SLP for 16 years and LOVES what she does. She specializes in children with speech sound disorders and apraxia of speech. Her eldest son has apraxia, so it is an area very close to her heart.
Rae-Anne loves to be silly and play with the kids she works with. Play is truly her best language! During sessions, Rae-Anne is bubbly and beyond positive and says “Yes, you did it!” as many times as possible. She wants every child to leave her office with a big smile and feeling more confident than when they walked in.
Rae-Anne’s eldest son has had many therapies over the years for his delays, so she knows what it is like to sit on the other side of the table. She also knows what it is like to feel “unheard” and never wants any parent to feel like that. Therefore, she works with each parent to understand their child and always offers a listening ear.
Rae-Anne lives in Calgary with her husband, two sons and a Beagle named Bernie. She loves to travel with her family and teach her kids how to backpack around Europe. When she is not doing all things SLP, you can find her baking bread, running and hosting dinner for her friends.
